Frequently Asked Questions
Where are your handbags made?
All of our handbags are handmade in our Manhattan factory, where we’ve been crafting leather goods since 1982.
What type of leather do you use?
We use only 100% Italian leather, imported directly from Italy, ensuring exceptional quality and durability.
Are your products truly handmade?
Yes — every handbag is cut, stitched, and finished by hand by our skilled artisans who have been with us since our early days since we opened our factory doors in 1982.
How long does it take to make a handbag?
Depending on the design and detailing, each piece can take several hours to days to complete, as we focus on precision and craftsmanship over speed.
Where is your leather factory located?
Our factory is based in Manhattan, making us the last standing leather factory in New York City capable of producing at our scale.
How do I care for my leather handbag?
We recommend storing your bag in its dust cover when not in use, avoiding prolonged exposure to water or direct sunlight, and conditioning the leather occasionally with a high-quality leather cream or an oil free baby wipe.
Do you offer repairs or restoration?
Yes — since we make everything in-house, we can assist with repairs or restoration to keep your handbag looking its best for years to come.
Are your handbags sustainable?
We practice sustainable craftsmanship by using ethically sourced Italian leather and producing in small, thoughtful quantities rather than mass production. Each piece is made to order.
Can I visit your factory or showroom?
Yes — we welcome clients who want to experience our heritage and see firsthand how our handbags are made. Visits are by appointment so please email us for more details!
